Gray Construction, Inc., is a family owned residential construction company founded in 2001 by Mike and Greg Gray in Colonial Beach, Virginia.
For over twenty-five years we have build custom homes, completed remodels, and expanded living spaces for families throughout the Northern Neck, all with the same crew, the same honest pricing, and the same committment to quality that defined our very first project.
We are not a national franchise or a large corporation builder. We live here, we work here, and every home we build is a reflection of the community we call home. When you hire Gray Construction, you are hiring neighbors who take their reputation personally.

1983
Greg Gray started his construction career after graduating from high school.
2001
Gray Construction is Founded - Mike and Greg establish Gray Construction in Colonial Beach, VA, with a focus on quality residential construction and a committment to the local community. The first custom home was built on the Northern Neck and continued to grow the Gray Construction reputation through word of mouth referrals with the company's footprint expanding throughout Westmoreland, King George and the surrounding counties. The owners' committment to quality, affordable homes continues over 25 years later.
2003
BBB Accreditation Earned
Gray Construction earns accreditation from the Better Business Bureau, reflecting two decades of honest business practices, transparent pricing, and satisfied customers throughout the Northern Neck.
2010s
Lots for Sale Program & Realtor Partnerships
Gray Construction begins offering lots for sale in the Colonial Beach area and develops partnerships with trusted local realtors — including Coldwell Banker Elite — to give buyers a complete land-and-build solution.
